Susan’s Succulents is a nursery borne of its founder Susan Gao’s experience of living, breathing passion for these botanical wonders. Her knowledge and care for the succulents she produces is matched by her enthusiasm for sharing her life’s passion with the wider community of succulent lovers of all skill levels, ages and walks of life. We are happy to be hosting one of Susans driftwood succulent workshops here at Burbank.

Join us for a serene and enriching experience in the art of Ikebana, the traditional Japanese art of flower arranging. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this workshop welcomes all levels. Learn the principles behind Ikebana as you create your own stunning floral arrangement to take home. Not for the faint-hearted (but still heaps of fun), Indoor Plant Bootcamp is an intensive, hands-on 'short course' on the skill of growing indoor plants. We'll cover topics such as potting mix types, techniques for repotting, pest management, light requirements and more. Demonstrating techniques as we go along, you'll have an opportunity to get your hands dirty as we blend an indoor potting mix together and then use it to repot an indoor plant that you can take home. We'll hone in on the specifics of growing two indoor favourites: Fiddle Leaf Fig and Monstera, and there'll be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and chat with other indoor foliage fiends! This bootcamp is suitable for brave beginners and those who have been practicing for a little while and would like to brush up on some finer points. -

Go wild at the nursery during the Easter school holidays!
