Gardenia Florida (Gardenia jasminoides ‘Florida’) is a popular choice for Central Coast gardens. Repeat flowering spring and summer, with white colouring. It prefers full sun to part shade and regular, consistent moisture – dislikes drying out. Feed with an acid/gardenia fertiliser in spring and summer; yellowing leaves often mean it needs iron chelates.
