Ceramic Surface Decoration Workshop
Want a twist to the popular ‘paint & sip’ style art workshop? Well this event is for you!
Springtime at Burbank House and Garden, a locally owned and family-operated independent garden centre, is the perfect backdrop for this guided pottery class.
Be inspired by the verdant location surrounded by blooms and interesting foliage to customise your very own ceramic pieces. Using food-safe underglazes you will hand paint your design resulting in a completely unique piece of functional homeware.
Enjoy a complementary Mimosa and shared grazing board during a glaze application and design demonstration. Templates will be provided, so don’t panic if you don’t consider yourself creative.

EXTRA COST- choice of bare ceramic pieces ranging in price from $15- $50 Check numbered photo before making a selection above. $40 fee will automatically be included in the total cost once you’ve made your selection.
This is a fun, relaxed introduction to pottery. No experience required and we aren’t going to get too grubby so your frocks will be fine!
We recommend you make a day of it and come early to enjoy lunch at the cafe on site or grab a takeaway coffee and wander through the nursery.
Your creation will be fired and ready to collect from the venue in approximately 3-4 weeks. All clay and glazes are food safe, microwave and dishwasher friendly.

Cancellation Policy
We love making interesting events and workshops available to our customers and friends. On occasion however, things don’t always go according to plan! While every effort is made for our events to go ahead as advertised, on rare occasions events may amended or cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. We thank you in advance for your understanding and flexibility on these rare instances.
For paid events: If a paid event is cancelled by Burbank, a full refund will be offered. If you need to cancel, a full refund will be provided up to 7 days before the event. A 50% refund will be provided up to 48 hours before the event, or the cost of the ticket can be credited to a future event. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event. Thank you!
